From the Lucca Junior Contest – Livio Sossi Editorial Illustration Award, an illustration exhibition will be derived, with its own catalogue, to collect and showcase the artworks selected by the jury among those presented by competitors.
Every artwork corresponds to one of the double-page illustrations from the picture book every participating artist was requested to illustrate, starting from the text proposed from the organization. Browsing the catalogue, it will be possible to discover how every artist personally interpreted the same text, often recurring to pretty different approaches on graphic, composition, characters, colours and techniques.
